| Syracuse Alumni spend night on Broadway to see HAIR |
|
On a Wednesday night in January, a group of 20 Syracuse Alumni spent a night out on Broadway! With a mixture of ages, members and non-members of the Big Apple Orange, everyone enjoyed the Tony Award winning musical, HAIR.
HAIR is a celebration of the 1960s and the counter-culture which heralded a lifestyle of peace and love. The show is a love letter to freedom, and a passionate cry for hope and change that still resonates today. The lively musical was full of show stopping tunes that began with the opening number "Aquarius", and continued with "Hair" and the finale of "Let the Sun Shine In", which allowed audience members to dance and sing along on stage.
The show date was January 13th at 8pm. All attendees met at the theater and received their tickets from Big Apple Orange organizer, sporting an orange OTTO headband. Seats were center mid-Mezzanine. Tickets prices were $57 for members and $63 for non-members. |
