Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising Design, 2011, The College of Visual and Performing Arts

Lauren works at Uproar Youth Agency, coming up with creative concepts for TV spots and designing storyboards for advertising campaigns. Through her many creative internships (at Us Weekly, Harrison Leifer DiMarco & Grey Global Group), she has learned to help out in any way she can while researching, designing and presenting to her fullest ability. She worked all four of her years at Syracuse University's Office of Alumni Relations, learning about alumni events and designing work for many on-campus events such as Homecoming and National Orange Day. Being that this is her first year on board, she's extremely excited to stay connected to the family she has made within the orange community and looks forward to it growing!

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, 2007, L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science

Harris is a Project Manager at H&L Electric. His fun fact (based off of all the questions he gets from his friends) is that he worked in Dubai for five weeks, helping on the engineering aspect of the opening of the world's largest mall. During his time at Syracuse, Harris was committee chair for Homecoming and Winter Carnival and now wants to bring that same school spirit and fun to NYC.

Liz recently graduated from Syracuse in 2011 and has moved to the Big Apple in search of a career in Public Relations and Marketing. While at SU she was a member of Delta Delta Delta and worked at beloved Faegan’s Restaurant and Bar.  As a recent grad, Liz has embraced her alumni status but plans to use any excuse she can to return to SU for games and social gatherings.  Coming from a small town, Liz can’t help but wave and cheer every time she sees someone rocking the Cuse’ colors. She is excited to be a part of the club and cannot wait to contribute to the progress it makes this year.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sport Management, 2008

Mark Urquhart is a 2008 graduate from Syracuse and is in his first year with the Big Apple Orange.  Mark owns his own digital design agency and works in New York City.  Mark participated as an active member of the Syracuse football program during his undergraduate years, and also was hired as a Graduate Assistant coach for his post-grad studies, under then Coach Greg Robinson.  Mark is originally from Boston, and is an avid sports fan / enthusiast.

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism with a minor in History, 2005, The Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs, The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, The College of Arts & Sciences

Fabien is a professional political operative, having spent his time since leaving The Hill traveling around the country working on political campaigns. In the last few years, Fabien has worked on U.S. Senators’ Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein's campaigns in California, U.S. Senator Kay Hagan's race in North Carolina, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's presidential race in 9 different states, and, most recently U.S. Congresswoman Kathy Hochul’s (SU Alum) race in Upstate New York.  While at Syracuse, Fabien was an on-air reporter at Z89, a mentor at the Wilson Park Community Center, and still had time to be a loyal patron of Pita Pit.  In his second year as VP of Marketing, Fabien's goal with Big Apple Orange is to increase opportunities for SU alumni to gather together, whether it's through networking seminars, athletics, philanthropic events, or happy hours.

Alex graduated in 2011 as a Television, Radio, & Film major and Information Management & Technology minor. While at Syracuse, he joined Delta Tau Delta fraternity and served as a staff writer for the satire startup Campus Basement. Originally from Long Island, Alex hopes to move into the city one day and start a career in entertainment and digital media marketing. He is very excited to serve Big Apple Orange as the Co-VP of Marketing and is eager to help bring Syracuse alumni together in NYC through all the various social media channels. His favorite food is cookies.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, 1995, The College of Visual and Performing Arts

Vadim is an independent content producer, specializing in editorial and creative development. His enthusiasm for Syracuse runs deep. During his time on campus, he was the program director for University Union Cinemas. Then after several years of working in New York's new media industry with such clients as HBO and Warner Bros. Pictures, Vadim channeled his professional experience into an online course for SU's School of Information Studies.
